The long-awaited launch of MKCB Iringa Branch has been concluded today at around 10.30 am when the Minister for Lands. Settlement and Urban Development, Hon.William Lukuvi (MP) cut the ribbon to officiate the public launch of this branch.

As it may be recalled that the soft launch for the same branch was held on 18th March 2019 by opening doors to residents of Iringa and MKCB customers at large. Speaking during the official launch; Hon.Lukuvi who was the chief guest, said “Opening of Iringa Branch is the indication of Mkombozi bank good intention to contribute on the national economy and financial services sector in Tanzania”.   He added further that “I commend the decision by Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) on establishing this bank as we all now see bank’s effort to improve economic wellbeing of Tanzanians”

Welcoming the chief guest, MKCB Ag. Board Chairperson Mr. Robert Mtendamema said “Since its inception ten years ago, the Bank has continued to gain momentum yearly as evidenced today by the opening of Iringa Branch. Mr. Mtendamema disclosed bank’s ambition to reach every person through specialized service which suit the needs of every person. He concluded by saying “Mkombozi Commercial Bank is the bank for all people regardless of their colour; tribe/ethnicity; religion nor political ideology “.

Interviewed by media people on what is next after the launch of Iringa Branch, the MD of Mkombozi Commercial Bank Mr. George Shumbusho responded “We are going to open doors to customers in Njombe in May this year and conclude the official launch of Dodoma Branch in April this year”
