Mkombozi Commercial Bank PLC is a fully-fledged commercial bank that was established in 2009 offering a wide spectrum of banking services. The fast-growing Bank is inviting suitable candidates to apply for the vacant post of Senior Manager – Corporate Affairs and Communication. The incumbent will report to the Managing Director and assist the Bank create a unique brand preposition in the market.

1.2 Job Purpose

To enable the bank to create and communicate a favorable public image through media campaigns designed to reach investors, consumers, employees, customers, government agencies and other stakeholders.

1.3  Main Responsibilities

    • Acts as the Custodian of the bank’s Corporate messages and ensures that all communication is consistent and aligned to corporate strategy;   
    • Leads and manages Corporate Affairs and ensures that best practices are implemented to meet bank objectives;
    • Identifies potential reputation risks to the company and takes measures so as to maintain the bank`s reputation;
    • Coordinate media campaigns designed to reach investors, consumers, employees, industry analysts, customers, government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure the bank`s visibility;
    • Review, reorganise and integrate corporate functions to enhance value whilst aligning to high quality support services that are dynamic and responsive to both internal and external customers;
    • Manage Bank’s marketing agenda that conforms with Bank’s strategic plan
    • Ensure that a range of digital channels (social media, website etc) are utilised fully as communications means between Bank and Market / Clients.         

1.4 Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Mass Communication, Business Administration, Marketing or related field with proven track record. Master’s Degree will be an added  advantage.

1.5 Desirable Skills.

  • Excellent writing  and speaking skills (both English and Swahili)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, solve problems and think strategically.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and play well on a team.
  • Ability to make and maintain relationships across a large organization
  • Self-innovator
  • Highly developed PowerPoint skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office

1.6        Work Experience

At least five (5) years of work experience in related filled with at least two to three years of Managerial experience.

  • Copies of academic Certificates.
  • Applicants must be a self-motivated person who can work under tight time frames with minimal supervision.
